Whenever you watch a nature special about the wilds of the African plains, you almost always see a zebra being taken down by a large cat of some kind. Their stripes are their natural camoflage, developed over millions of years of evolution as a defense mechanism to help them blend in with the tall grass.
Of course, they might as well have targets on them, as often as they get eaten! And so, this drawing done entirely in Photoshop demonstrates how the rest of the animals see the zebra as it makes its way across the African plains. This was an idea proposed by a friend of mine, and I ended up putting in on a t-shirt for him.
when i saw the thumbnail i thought this was gonna be about a failed zebra species...you bring about a good point and its nice its not the first that came to mind.
Great idea.
