Metrohead

I've been riding the Metro so long it's like a second home. An especially welcome home when the air conditioning in my apartment has only worked for brief periods since the end of May. I know where to stand to hit the doors, I know which end of the train to board and exit, and I know all the shortcuts to and from. I can get anywhere I need on these trains that cover two states and a federal district. Where the trains can't take me the buses that meet the trains can.

Another piece that took a few weeks to complete, in spurts, while riding the Metro to and from work. The ad on the wall behind him is a real ad from the Metro with Mount Rushmore on it...the text in the ad I typed real small and cut and pasted in there. The body is a conglomeration of different unsuspecting passengers. The head is a Metro car...a heavily stylized Metro car.
