This drawing is a submission for
The Animal Alphabet Project by artist
Ben Towle. Each week he collects animals drawn by cartoonists and illustrators for each letter of the alphabet.
Well, this is it, the last piece in this series. I'm pleasantly surprised that I was able to stick with this for the entirety of the project. Many thanks go out to Ben Towle for being inclusive and supportive, and to all the talented and imaginative artists who contributed to the Animal Alphabet Project.
My submission for "Z" is this zebu. It's a type of bovine from Africa known for the large protruding hump on its back.
